The design of the Olive vases is a tribute to glass cutting. This glass shaping technique has a rich history and tradition in Czech and Slovenian lans. The minimalist design features an intricate, organic hand cut pattern, which required the best of craftsmen for its realisation. The satinated surface shows the subliminal nature of crystal glass and opaline.
The name of the vase derives from the Slovenian jargon name for cut patterns in glass with a rounded wheel: βolivaβ2020
